وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَـٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ
ناانصافوں کے اعمال سے اللہ کو غافل نہ سمجھ وه تو انہیں اس دن تک مہلت دیے ہوئے ہے جس دن آنکھیں پھٹی کی پھٹی ره جائیں گی.
And never think that Allāh is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them [i.e., their account] for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].
وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَـٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةً ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
اگر لوگوں کے گناه پر اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی گرفت کرتا تو روئے زمین پر ایک بھی جاندار باقی نہ رہتا، لیکن وه تو انہیں ایک وقت مقرر تک ڈھیل دیتا ہے، جب ان کا وه وقت آجاتا ہے تو وه ایک ساعت نہ پیچھے ره سکتے ہیں اور نہ آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیں.
And if Allāh were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon it [i.e., the earth] any creature, but He defers them for a specified term. And when their term has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].
وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَـٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرًۢا
اور اگر اللہ تعالیٰ لوگوں پر ان کے اعمال کے سبب داروگیر فرمانے لگتا تو روئے زمین پر ایک جاندار کو نہ چھوڑتا، لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو ایک میعاد معین تک مہلت دے رہا ہے، سو جب ان کی وه میعاد آپہنچے گی اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں کو آپ دیکھ لے گا.
And if Allāh were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon it [i.e., the earth] any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allāh has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.
