What this app does

Quranic Word Explorer helps learners explore the language of the Holy Qur’an by showing Arabic words with Urdu and English meanings, roots, lemmas, morphology, frequency, related words, ayah occurrences, and recitation audio. It is designed as a learning aid for students, teachers, and anyone studying Qur’anic Arabic.

Our intention

We want this project to serve learners with care, humility, and respect for the sanctity of the Qur’an. The app is not a source of religious rulings, tafsir, or fatwa. It is a study tool that should point users toward deeper learning with qualified teachers and reliable scholarship.

How the data is prepared

The app combines data from established Qur’anic text, translation, morphology, and audio sources. Some information is processed into word-level pages, search indexes, frequency counts, learning cards, and reader views. Because this processing involves human and computational steps, mistakes are possible.

Accuracy and responsibility

We take accuracy seriously, especially because this project concerns the Qur’an. Still, translations, short word glosses, morphology tags, and audio links are aids to study and may contain errors or simplifications.
