1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the Quranic Word Explorer team (“we”, “us”) governing your use of Quranic Word Explorer, including the website, app features, accounts, saved notes, bookmarks, learning tools, and any related services.

2. Educational purpose only

Quranic Word Explorer is provided for Qur’anic Arabic learning, vocabulary review, reading support, and educational reference. It is not a source of fatwa, religious rulings, legal advice, or scholarly authority. Our Disclaimer is part of these Terms.

3. Sacred content and respectful use

You agree to use the Service respectfully and lawfully, with regard for the sanctity of the Qur’an. You must not use the Service to mock, distort, abuse, harass, mislead, or present study aids as if they were definitive religious rulings.

4. Accuracy is not guaranteed

Translations, word meanings, morphology, roots, lemmas, frequencies, audio links, search results, and learning data may contain errors, omissions, simplifications, or mismatches. You are responsible for verifying important matters with qualified scholars and authentic sources before relying on them.

5. Third-party data and services

The Service uses third-party sources for Qur’anic text, translations, morphology, audio, fonts, hosting, authentication, and database services. Those providers may have their own licences, terms, limits, and availability. We are not responsible for their content, decisions, outages, or policies. See Sources & Attribution.

6. Accounts and user content

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Notes, bookmarks, and learning progress you save remain your content, but you allow us to store and display them back to you as part of the Service. Do not store unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or violate the rights of others.
• Attack, disrupt, overload, scrape abusively, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, data, or systems.
• Redistribute source data in a way that violates third-party licences.
• Use the Service in a way that is disrespectful to the Qur’an.

8. Intellectual property

The Service design, original interface text, and code are owned bythe Quranic Word Explorer team or its contributors. Qur’anic text, translations, morphology data, audio, fonts, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own licences.

9. Service provided as is

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, complete, accurate, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Quranic Word Explorer team, contributors, maintainers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, or for losses arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including reliance on translations, meanings, morphology, audio, or other content.

11. Suspension or changes

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or if needed to protect the Service, users, source providers, or the integrity of the content.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, unless mandatory law in your location requires otherwise. Courts inPakistan will have jurisdiction where permitted by law.
