رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْحِسَابُ
اے ہمارے پروردگار! مجھے بخش دے اور میرے ماں باپ کو بھی بخش اور دیگر مومنوں کو بھی بخش جس دن حساب ہونے لگے.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established."
فَٱعْلَمْ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمْ وَمَثْوَىٰكُمْ
سو (اے نبی!) آپ یقین کر لیں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور اپنے گناہوں کی بخشش مانگا کریں اور مومن مردوں اور مومن عورتوں کے حق میں بھی، اللہ تم لوگوں کی آمد ورفت کی اور رہنے سہنے کی جگہ کو خوب جانتا ہے.
So know, [O Muḥammad], that there is no deity except Allāh and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And Allāh knows of your movement and your resting place.
يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَآ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ ٱلْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا ٱلْأَذَلَّ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر ہم اب لوٹ کر مدینہ جائیں گے تو عزت واﻻ وہاں سے ذلت والے کو نکال دے گا۔ سنو! عزت تو صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے اور اس کے رسول کے لیے اور ایمان داروں کے لیے ہے لیکن یہ منافق جانتے نہیں.
They say, "If we return to al-Madīnah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allāh belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.
رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِىَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًۢا
اے میرے پروردگار! تو مجھے اور میرے ماں باپ اور جو بھی ایمان کی حالت میں میرے گھر میں آئے اور تمام مومن مردوں اور عورتوں کو بخش دے اور کافروں کو سوائے بربادی کے اور کسی بات میں نہ بڑھا.
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."
