وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامِى وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ
اور ان کے بعد ہم خود تمہیں اس زمین میں بسائیں گے۔ یہ ہے ان کے لئے جو میرے سامنے کھڑے ہونے کا ڈر رکھیں اور میری وعید سے خوفزده رہیں.
And We will surely cause you to dwell in the land after them. That is for he who fears My position and fears My threat."
وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ ۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِ
اور ایکہ والوں نے تبع کی قوم نے بھی تکذیب کی تھی۔ سب نے پیغمبروں کو جھٹلایا پس میرا وعدہٴ عذاب ان پر صادق آگیا.
And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubbaʿ. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled.
نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ
یہ جو کچھ کہہ رہے ہیں ہم بخوبی جانتے ہیں اور آپ ان پر جبر کرنے والے نہیں، تو آپ قرآن کے ذریعے انہیں سمجھاتے رہیں جو میرے وعید (ڈرانے کے وعدوں) سے ڈرتے ہیں.
We are most knowing of what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant. But remind by the Qur’ān whoever fears My threat.
