الٓر ۚ كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ ٱلنَّاسَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ

الرٰ! یہ عالی شان کتاب ہم نے آپ کی طرف اتاری ہے کہ آپ لوگوں کو اندھیروں سے اجالے کی طرف ﻻئیں، ان کے پروردگار کے حکم سے، زبردست اور تعریفوں والے اللہ کی طرف.

Alif, Lām, Rā. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -

وَهُدُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّيِّبِ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَهُدُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ

ان کو پاکیزه بات کی رہنمائی کر دی گئی اور قابل صد تعریف راه کی ہدایت کر دی گئی.

And they had been guided [in worldly life] to good speech, and they were guided to the path of the Praiseworthy.

وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيَهْدِىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ

اور جنہیں علم ہے وه دیکھ لیں گے کہ جو کچھ آپ کی جانب آپ کے رب کی طرف سے نازل ہوا ہے وه (سراسر) حق ہے اور اللہ غالب خوبیوں والے کی راه کی رہبری کرتا ہے.

And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ

(ان سب کو) جمع کرکے انہیں دوزخ کی راه دکھا دو.

Other than Allāh, and guide them to the path of Hellfire

صِرَٰطِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ تَصِيرُ ٱلْأُمُورُ

اس اللہ کی راه کی جس کی ملکیت میں آسمانوں اور زمین کی ہر چیز ہے۔ آگاه رہو سب کام اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کی طرف لوٹتے ہیں.

The path of Allāh, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Unquestionably, to Allāh do [all] matters evolve [i.e., return].
