ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ ٱلْقُلُوبُ
جو لوگ ایمان ﻻئے ان کے دل اللہ کے ذکر سے اطمینان حاصل کرتے ہیں۔ یاد رکھو اللہ کے ذکر سے ہی دلوں کو تسلی حاصل ہوتی ہے.
Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allāh. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allāh hearts are assured."
أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَآ أَوْ ءَاذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا ۖ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ وَلَـٰكِن تَعْمَى ٱلْقُلُوبُ ٱلَّتِى فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ
کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سیر وسیاحت نہیں کی جو ان کے دل ان باتوں کے سمجھنے والے ہوتے یا کانوں سے ہی ان (واقعات) کو سن لیتے، بات یہ ہے کہ صرف آنکھیں ہی اندھی نہیں ہوتیں بلکہ وه دل اندھے ہو جاتے ہیں جو سینوں میں ہیں.
So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
رِجَالٌ لَّا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَـٰرَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَإِيتَآءِ ٱلزَّكَوٰةِ ۙ يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ
ایسے لوگ جنہیں تجارت اور خرید وفروخت اللہ کے ذکر سے اور نماز کے قائم کرنے اور زکوٰة ادا کرنے سے غافل نہیں کرتی اس دن سے ڈرتے ہیں جس دن بہت سے دل اور بہت سی آنکھیں الٹ پلٹ ہوجائیں گی.
[Are] men whom neither commerce nor sale distracts from the remembrance of Allāh and performance of prayer and giving of zakāh. They fear a Day in which the hearts and eyes will [fearfully] turn about -
إِذْ جَآءُوكُم مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ وَبَلَغَتِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ ٱلْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلظُّنُونَا۠
جب کہ (دشمن) تمہارے پاس اوپر سے اور نیچے سے چڑھ آئے اور جب کہ آنکھیں پتھرا گئیں اور کلیجے منھ کو آگئے اور تم اللہ تعالیٰ کی نسبت طرح طرح کے گمان کرنے لگے.
[Remember] when they came at you from above you and from below you, and when eyes shifted [in fear], and hearts reached the throats, and you assumed about Allāh [various] assumptions.
وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْـَٔازِفَةِ إِذِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ لَدَى ٱلْحَنَاجِرِ كَـٰظِمِينَ ۚ مَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِنْ حَمِيمٍ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ يُطَاعُ
اور انہیں بہت ہی قریب آنے والی (قیامت سے) آگاه کر دیجئے، جب کہ دل حلق تک پہنچ جائیں گے اور سب خاموش ہوں گے، ﻇالموں کا نہ کوئی دلی دوست ہوگا نہ سفارشی، کہ جس کی بات مانی جائے گی.
And warn them, [O Muḥammad], of the Approaching Day, when hearts are at the throats, filled [with distress]. For the wrongdoers there will be no devoted friend and no intercessor [who is] obeyed.
