سَوَآءٌ مِّنكُم مَّنْ أَسَرَّ ٱلْقَوْلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِۦ وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفٍۭ بِٱلَّيْلِ وَسَارِبٌۢ بِٱلنَّهَارِ
تم میں سے کسی کا اپنی بات کو چھپا کر کہنا اور بﺂواز بلند اسے کہنا اور جو رات کو چھپا ہوا ہو اور جو دن میں چل رہا ہو، سب اللہ پر برابر ویکساں ہیں.
It is the same [to Him] concerning you whether one conceals [his] speech or publicizes it and whether one is hidden by night or conspicuous [among others] by day.
وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَهُمْ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ شُرَكَآؤُنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدْعُوا۟ مِن دُونِكَ ۖ فَأَلْقَوْا۟ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ إِنَّكُمْ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ
اور جب مشرکین اپنے شریکوں کو دیکھ لیں گے تو کہیں گے اے ہمارے پروردگار! یہی ہمارے وه شریک ہیں جنہیں ہم تجھے چھوڑ کر پکارا کرتے تھے، پس وه انہیں جواب دیں گے کہ تم بالکل ہی جھوٹے ہو.
And when those who associated others with Allāh see their "partners," they will say, "Our Lord, these are our partners [to You] whom we used to invoke [in worship] besides You." But they will throw at them the statement, "Indeed, you are liars."
قَالَ رَبِّى يَعْلَمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
پیغمبر نے کہا میرا پروردگار ہر اس بات کو جو زمین وآسمان میں ہے بخوبی جانتا ہے، وه بہت ہی سننے واﻻ اور جاننے واﻻ ہے.
He [the Prophet (ﷺ)] said, "My Lord knows whatever is said throughout the heaven and earth, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing."
أَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا۟ ٱلْقَوْلَ أَمْ جَآءَهُم مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ ءَابَآءَهُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
کیا انہوں نے اس بات میں غور وفکر ہی نہیں کیا؟ بلکہ ان کے پاس وه آیا جو ان کے اگلے باپ دادوں کے پاس نہیں آیا تھا؟
Then have they not reflected over the word [i.e., the Qur’ān], or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers?
۞ وَلَقَدْ وَصَّلْنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
اور ہم برابر پے درپے لوگوں کے لیے اپنا کلام بھیجتے رہے تاکہ وه نصیحت حاصل کرلیں.
And We have [repeatedly] conveyed to them the word [i.e., the Qur’ān] that they might be reminded.
