يَـٰصَـٰحِبَىِ ٱلسِّجْنِ ءَأَرْبَابٌ مُّتَفَرِّقُونَ خَيْرٌ أَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
اے میرے قید خانے کے ساتھیو! کیا متفرق کئی ایک پروردگار بہتر ہیں؟ یا ایک اللہ زبردست طاقتور؟
O [my] two companions of prison, are separate lords better or Allāh, the One, the Prevailing?
قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٌ ۖ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَـٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
کہہ دیجئے! کہ میں تو صرف خبردار کرنے واﻻ ہوں اور بجز اللہ واحد غالب کے اور کوئی ﻻئق عبادت نہیں.
Say, [O Muḥammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allāh, the One, the Prevailing,
لَّوْ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَّٱصْطَفَىٰ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ ۖ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
اگر اللہ تعالیٰ کااراده اوﻻد ہی کا ہوتا تو اپنی مخلوق میں سے جسے چاہتا چن لیتا۔ (لیکن) وه تو پاک ہے، وه وہی اللہ تعالیٰ ہے یگانہ اور قوت واﻻ.
If Allāh had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allāh, the One, the Prevailing.
