وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَـٰمٌ ۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ حَنِيذٍ
اور ہمارے بھیجے ہوئے پیغامبر ابراہیم کے پاس خوشخبری لے کر پہنچے اور سلام کہا، انہوں نے بھی جواب سلام دیا اور بغیر کسی تاخیر کے گائے کا بھنا ہوا بچھڑا لے آئے.
And certainly did Our messengers [i.e., angels] come to Abraham with good tidings; they said, "Peace." He said, "Peace," and did not delay in bringing [them] a roasted calf.
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ
کہ جب انہوں نے ان کے پاس آکر سلام کہا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم کو تو تم سے ڈر لگتا ہے.
When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful [i.e., apprehensive] of you."
لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَـٰمًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا
وه لوگ وہاں کوئی لغو بات نہ سنیں گے صرف سلام ہی سلام سنیں گے، ان کے لئے وہاں صبح شام ان کا رزق ہوگا.
They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon.
وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلْجَـٰهِلُونَ قَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا
رحمٰن کے (سچے) بندے وه ہیں جو زمین پر فروتنی کے ساتھ چلتے ہیں اور جب بے علم لوگ ان سے باتیں کرنے لگتے ہیں تو وه کہہ دیتے ہیں کہ سلام ہے.
And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace,
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
وه جب ان کے ہاں آئے تو سلام کیا، ابراہیم نے جواب سلام دیا (اور کہا یہ تو) اجنبی لوگ ہیں.
When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace; [you are] a people unknown."
