وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً ثُمَّ نَزَعْنَـٰهَا مِنْهُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيَـُٔوسٌ كَفُورٌ
اور اگر ہم انسان کو اپنی کسی نعمت کا ذائقہ چکھا کر پھر اسے اس سے لے لیں تو وه بہت ہی ناامید اور بڑا ہی ناشکرا بن جاتا ہے.
And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then We withdraw it from him, indeed, he is despairing and ungrateful.
فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا۟ فَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا ۖ إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ۗ وَإِنَّآ إِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً فَرِحَ بِهَا ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَإِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ كَفُورٌ
اگر یہ منھ پھیرلیں تو ہم نے آپ کو ان پر نگہبان بنا کر نہیں بھیجا، آپ کے ذمہ تو صرف پیغام پہنچا دینا ہے، ہم جب کبھی انسان کو اپنی مہربانی کا مزه چکھاتے ہیں تو وه اس پر اترا جاتا ہے اور اگر انہیں ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے کوئی مصیبت پہنچتی ہے تو بےشک انسان بڑا ہی ناشکرا ہے.
But if they turn away - then We have not sent you, [O Muḥammad], over them as a guardian; upon you is only [the duty of] notification. And indeed, when We let man taste mercy from Us, he rejoices in it; but if evil afflicts him for what his hands have put forth, then indeed, man is ungrateful.
