وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِ وَٱلْكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ هِىَ حَسْبُهُمْ ۚ وَلَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ

اللہ تعالیٰ ان منافق مردوں، عورتوں اورکافروں سے جہنم کی آگ کا وعده کر چکا ہے جہاں یہ ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں، وہی انہیں کافی ہے ان پر اللہ کی پھٹکار ہے، اور ان ہی کے لئے دائمی عذاب ہے۔

Allāh has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the disbelievers the fire of Hell, wherein they will abide eternally. It is sufficient for them. And Allāh has cursed them, and for them is an enduring punishment.

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نُهُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَـٰجَوْنَ بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِ وَإِذَا جَآءُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ ٱللَّهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا ٱللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُ ۚ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ يَصْلَوْنَهَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

کیا تو نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا؟ جنہیں کانا پھوسی سے روک دیا گیا تھا وه پھر بھی اس روکے ہوئے کام کو دوباره کرتے ہیں اور آپس میں گناه کی اور ﻇلم وزیادتی کی اور نافرمانیٴ پیغمبر کی سرگوشیاں کرتے ہیں، اور جب تیرے پاس آتے ہیں تو تجھے ان لفظوں میں سلام کرتے ہیں جن لفظوں میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے نہیں کہا اور اپنے دل میں کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں اس پر جو ہم کہتے ہیں سزا کیوں نہیں دیتا، ان کے لیے جہنم کافی (سزا) ہے جس میں یہ جائیں گے، سو وه برا ٹھکانا ہے.

Have you not considered those who were forbidden from private conversation [i.e., ridicule and conspiracy] and then return to that which they were forbidden and converse among themselves about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger? And when they come to you, they greet you with that [word] by which Allāh does not greet you and say among themselves, "Why does Allāh not punish us for what we say?" Sufficient for them is Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the destination.
