لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ قَدْ كَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَـٰنِكُمْ ۚ إِن نَّعْفُ عَن طَآئِفَةٍ مِّنكُمْ نُعَذِّبْ طَآئِفَةًۢ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ
تم بہانے نہ بناؤ یقیناً تم اپنے ایمان کے بعد بے ایمان ہوگئے، اگر ہم تم میں سے کچھ لوگوں سے درگزر بھی کر لیں تو کچھ لوگوں کو ان کے جرم کی سنگین سزا بھی دیں گے۔
Make no excuse; you have disbelieved [i.e., rejected faith] after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you - We will punish another faction because they were criminals.
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُم بِهِۦ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ فِى شِقَاقٍۭ بَعِيدٍ
آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ بھلا یہ تو بتاؤ کہ اگر یہ قرآن اللہ کی طرف سے آیا ہوا ہو پھر تم نے اسے نہ مانا بس اس سے بڑھ کر بہکا ہوا کون ہوگا جو مخالفت میں (حق سے) دور چلا جائے.
Say, "Have you considered: if it [i.e., the Qur’ān] is from Allāh and you disbelieved in it, who would be more astray than one who is in extreme dissension?"
