ٱلَّذِينَ عَـٰهَدتَّ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَهُمْ فِى كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَتَّقُونَ
جن سے آپ نے عہد وپیمان کر لیا پھر بھی وه اپنے عہد وپیمان کو ہر مرتبہ توڑ دیتے ہیں اور بالکل پرہیز نہیں کرتے۔
The ones with whom you made a treaty but then they break their pledge every time, and they do not fear Allāh.
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ عَـٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنقُصُوكُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَمْ يُظَـٰهِرُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًا فَأَتِمُّوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَىٰ مُدَّتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
بجز ان مشرکوں کے جن سے تمہارا معاہده ہو چکا ہے اور انہوں نے تمہیں ذرا سا بھی نقصان نہیں پہنچایا نہ کسی کی تمہارے خلاف مدد کی ہے تو تم بھی ان کے معاہدے کی مدت ان کے ساتھ پوری کرو، اللہ تعالیٰ پرہیزگاروں کو دوست رکھتا ہے۔
Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allāh loves the righteous [who fear Him].
