خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِمْ ۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ غِشَـٰوَةٌ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے دلوں پر اور ان کے کانوں پر مہر کر دی ہے اور ان کی آنکھوں پر پرده ہے اور ان کے لئے بڑا عذاب ہے۔
Allāh has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment.
قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا۟ مِنْ أَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا۟ فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ
مسلمان مردوں سے کہو کہ اپنی نگاہیں نیچی رکھیں، اور اپنی شرمگاہوں کی حفاﻇت رکھیں۔ یہی ان کے لئے پاکیزگی ہے، لوگ جو کچھ کریں اللہ تعالیٰ سب سے خبردار ہے.
Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allāh is [fully] Aware of what they do.
