ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُن فِتْنَتُهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ وَٱللَّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِينَ
پھر ان کے شرک کا انجام اس کے سوا اور کچھ بھی نہ ہوگا کہ وه یوں کہیں گے کہ قسم اللہ کی اپنے پروردگار کی ہم مشرک نہ تھے۔
Then there will be no [excuse upon] examination except they will say, "By Allāh, our Lord, we were not those who associated."
حُنَفَآءَ لِلَّهِ غَيْرَ مُشْرِكِينَ بِهِۦ ۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَتَخْطَفُهُ ٱلطَّيْرُ أَوْ تَهْوِى بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِى مَكَانٍ سَحِيقٍ
اللہ کی توحید کو مانتے ہوئے اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرتے ہوئے۔ سنو! اللہ کے ساتھ شریک کرنے واﻻ گویا آسمان سے گر پڑا، اب یا تو اسے پرندے اچک لے جائیں گے یا ہوا کسی دور دراز کی جگہ پھینک دے گی.
Inclining [only] to Allāh, not associating [anything] with Him. And he who associates with Allāh - it is as though he had fallen from the sky and was snatched by the birds or the wind carried him down into a remote place.
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْا۟ بَأْسَنَا قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَحْدَهُۥ وَكَفَرْنَا بِمَا كُنَّا بِهِۦ مُشْرِكِينَ
ہمارا عذاب دیکھتے ہی کہنے لگے کہ اللہ واحد پر ہم ایمان ﻻئے اور جن جن کو ہم اس کا شریک بنا رہے تھے ہم نے ان سب سے انکار کیا.
And when they saw Our punishment, they said, "We believe in Allāh alone and disbelieve in that which we used to associate with Him."
