يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُحَرِّمُوا۟ طَيِّبَـٰتِ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالیٰ نے جو پاکیزه چیزیں تمہارے واسطے حلال کی ہیں ان کو حرام مت کرو اور حد سے آگے مت نکلو، بےشک اللہ تعالیٰ حد سے نکلنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا۔
O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allāh has made lawful to you and do not transgress. Indeed, Allāh does not like transgressors.
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكَ ۖ تَبْتَغِى مَرْضَاتَ أَزْوَٰجِكَ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
اے نبی! جس چیز کو اللہ نے آپ کے لیے حلال کر دیا ہے اسے آپ کیوں حرام کرتے ہیں؟ (کیا) آپ اپنی بیویوں کی رضامندی حاصل کرنا چاہتے ہیں اور اللہ بخشنے واﻻ رحم کرنے واﻻ ہے.
O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allāh has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.
