فَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُۥ نَفْسُهُۥ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُۥ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
پس اسے اس کے نفس نے اپنے بھائی کے قتل پر آماده کر دیا اور اس نے اسے قتل کر ڈاﻻ، جس سے نقصان پانے والوں میں سے ہوگیا۔
And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَـٰدِهِمْ شُرَكَآؤُهُمْ لِيُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِيَلْبِسُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ دِينَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ
اور اسی طرح بہت سے مشرکین کے خیال میں ان کے معبودوں نے ان کی اوﻻد کے قتل کرنے کو مستحسن بنا رکھا ہے تاکہ وه ان کو برباد کریں اور تاکہ ان کے دین کو ان پر مشتبہ کردیں اور اگر اللہ کو منظور ہوتا تو یہ ایسا کام نہ کرتے تو آپ ان کو اور جو کچھ یہ غلط باتیں بنا رہے ہیں یونہی رہنے دیجئے۔
And likewise, to many of the polytheists their partners have made [to seem] pleasing the killing of their children in order to bring about their destruction and to cover them with confusion in their religion. And if Allāh had willed, they would not have done so. So leave them and that which they invent.
