إِنِّىٓ أُرِيدُ أَن تَبُوٓأَ بِإِثْمِى وَإِثْمِكَ فَتَكُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
میں تو چاہتا ہوں کہ تو میرا گناه اور اپنے گناه اپنے سر پر رکھ لے اور دوزخیوں میں شامل ہوجائے، ﻇالموں کا یہی بدلہ ہے۔
Indeed, I want you to obtain [thereby] my sin and your sin so you will be among the companions of the Fire. And that is the recompense of wrongdoers."
وَلَا تَطْرُدِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَدَوٰةِ وَٱلْعَشِىِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُۥ ۖ مَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن شَىْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
اور ان لوگوں کو نہ نکالیے جو صبح وشام اپنے پروردگار کی عبادت کرتے ہیں، خاص اسی کی رضامندی کا قصد رکھتے ہیں۔ ان کا حساب ذرا بھی آپ کے متعلق نہیں اور آپ کا حساب ذرا بھی ان کے متعلق نہیں کہ آپ ان کو نکال دیں۔ ورنہ آپ ﻇلم کرنے والوں میں سے ہو جائیں گے۔
And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His face [i.e., favor]. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account. So were you to send them away, you would [then] be of the wrongdoers.
وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
اور نہ ان لوگوں میں سے ہوں جنہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی آیتوں کو جھٹلایا، کہیں آپ خساره پانے والوں میں سے نہ ہوجائیں.
And never be of those who deny the signs of Allāh and [thus] be among the losers.
يَـٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَـٰنِ وَلِيًّا
ابّا جان! مجھے خوف لگا ہوا کہ کہیں آپ پر کوئی عذاب الٰہی نہ آپڑے کہ آپ شیطان کے ساتھی بن جائیں.
O my father, indeed I fear that there will touch you a punishment from the Most Merciful so you would be to Satan a companion [in Hellfire]."
أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَآ أَوْ ءَاذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا ۖ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ وَلَـٰكِن تَعْمَى ٱلْقُلُوبُ ٱلَّتِى فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ
کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سیر وسیاحت نہیں کی جو ان کے دل ان باتوں کے سمجھنے والے ہوتے یا کانوں سے ہی ان (واقعات) کو سن لیتے، بات یہ ہے کہ صرف آنکھیں ہی اندھی نہیں ہوتیں بلکہ وه دل اندھے ہو جاتے ہیں جو سینوں میں ہیں.
So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
