لَئِنۢ بَسَطتَ إِلَىَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقْتُلَنِى مَآ أَنَا۠ بِبَاسِطٍ يَدِىَ إِلَيْكَ لِأَقْتُلَكَ ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
گو تو میرے قتل کے لئے دست درازی کرے لیکن میں تیرے قتل کی طرف ہرگز اپنے ہاتھ نہ بڑھاؤں گا، میں تو اللہ تعالیٰ پروردگار عالم سے خوف کھاتا ہوں۔
If you should raise your hand toward me to kill me - I shall not raise my hand toward you to kill you. Indeed, I fear Allāh, Lord of the worlds.
فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّىٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
بجز سچے اللہ تعالیٰ کے جو تمام جہان کا پالنہار ہے.
Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds,
إِنَّمَآ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْبَلْدَةِ ٱلَّذِى حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُۥ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
مجھے تو بس یہی حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں اس شہر کے پروردگار کی عبادت کرتا رہوں جس نے اسے حرمت واﻻ بنایا ہے، جس کی ملکیت ہر چیز ہے اور مجھے یہ بھی فرمایا گیا ہے کہ میں فرماں برداروں میں ہو جاؤں.
[Say, O Muḥammad], "I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [i.e., those who submit to Allāh].
كَمَثَلِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ إِذْ قَالَ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ ٱكْفُرْ فَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ إِنِّى بَرِىٓءٌ مِّنكَ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
شیطان کی طرح کہ اس نے انسان سے کہا کفر کر، جب وه کفر کر چکا تو کہنے لگا میں تو تجھ سے بری ہوں، میں تو اللہ رب العالمین سے ڈرتا ہوں.
[The hypocrites are] like the example of Satan when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allāh, Lord of the worlds."
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ
پس انہیں چاہئے کہ اسی گھر کے رب کی عبادت کرتے رہیں.
Let them worship the Lord of this House,
