يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَكُم بُرْهَـٰنٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكُمْ نُورًا مُّبِينًا
اے لوگو! تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے سند اور دلیل آپہنچی اور ہم نے تمہاری جانب واضح اور صاف نور اتار دیا ہے۔
O mankind, there has come to you a conclusive proof from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light.
وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً وَلَـٰكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِى مَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۖ فَٱسْتَبِقُوا۟ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ ۚ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
اور ہم نے آپ کی طرف حق کے ساتھ یہ کتاب نازل فرمائی ہے جو اپنے سے اگلی کتابوں کی تصدیق کرنے والی ہے اور ان کی محافظ ہے۔ اس لئے آپ ان کے آپس کے معاملات میں اسی اللہ کی اتاری ہوئی کتاب کے ساتھ حکم کیجیئے، اس حق سے ہٹ کر ان کی خواہشوں کے پیچھے نہ جائیے تم میں سے ہر ایک کے لئے ہم نے ایک دستور اور راه مقرر کردی ہے۔ اگر منظور مولیٰ ہوتا تو تم سب کو ایک ہی امت بنا دیتا، لیکن اس کی چاہت ہے کہ جو تمہیں دیا ہے اس میں تمہیں آزمائے، تم نیکیوں کی طرف جلدی کرو، تم سب کا رجوع اللہ ہی کی طرف ہے، پھر وه تمہیں ہر وه چیز بتا دے گا جس میں تم اختلاف کرتے رہتے ہو۔
And We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allāh has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had Allāh willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so race to [all that is] good. To Allāh is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ.
بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَٱلزُّبُرِ ۗ وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
دلیلوں اور کتابوں کے ساتھ، یہ ذکر (کتاب) ہم نے آپ کی طرف اتارا ہے کہ لوگوں کی جانب جو نازل فرمایا گیا ہے آپ اسے کھول کھول کر بیان کر دیں، شاید کہ وه غور وفکر کریں.
[We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message [i.e., the Qur’ān] that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought.
