مَّا يَفْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِن شَكَرْتُمْ وَءَامَنتُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًا
اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں سزا دے کر کیا کرے گا؟ اگر تم شکر گزاری کرتے رہو اور باایمان رہو، اللہ تعالیٰ بہت قدر کرنے واﻻ اور پورا علم رکھنے واﻻ ہے۔
What would Allāh do with [i.e., gain from] your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allāh Appreciative and Knowing.
شَاكِرًا لِّأَنْعُمِهِ ۚ ٱجْتَبَىٰهُ وَهَدَىٰهُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
اللہ تعالیٰ کی نعمتوں کے شکر گزار تھے، اللہ نے انہیں اپنا برگزیده کر لیا تھا اور انہیں راه راست سجھا دی تھی.
[He was] grateful for His favors. He [i.e., Allāh] chose him and guided him to a straight path.
إِنَّا هَدَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا
ہم نے اسے راه دکھائی اب خواه وه شکر گزار بنے خواه ناشکرا.
Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.
