وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ رَأَيْتَ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُودًا
ان سے جب کبھی کہا جائے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے نازل کرده کلام کی اور رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) کی طرف آؤ تو آپ دیکھ لیں گے کہ یہ منافق آپ سے منھ پھیر کر رکے جاتے ہیں۔
And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allāh has revealed and to the Messenger," you see the hypocrites turning away from you in aversion.
ٱلَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ كَـٰفِرُونَ
جو اللہ کی راه سے اعراض کرتے تھے اور اس میں کجی تلاش کرتے تھے اور وه لوگ آخرت کے بھی منکر تھے۔
Who averted [people] from the way of Allāh and sought to make it [seem] deviant while they were, concerning the Hereafter, disbelievers."
وَمَا لَهُمْ أَلَّا يُعَذِّبَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ عَنِ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
اور ان میں کیا بات ہے کہ ان کو اللہ تعالیٰ سزا نہ دے حاﻻنکہ وه لوگ مسجد حرام سے روکتے ہیں، جب کہ وه لوگ اس مسجد کے متولی نہیں۔ اس کے متولی تو سوا متقیوں کے اور اشخاص نہیں، لیکن ان میں اکثر لوگ علم نہیں رکھتے۔
But why should Allāh not punish them while they obstruct [people] from al-Masjid al-Ḥarām and they were not [fit to be] its guardians? Its [true] guardians are not but the righteous, but most of them do not know.
ٱلَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ
جو اللہ کی راه سے روکتے ہیں اور اس میں کجی تلاش کر لیتے ہیں۔ یہی آخرت کے منکر ہیں.
Who averted [people] from the way of Allāh and sought to make it [seem] deviant while they, concerning the Hereafter, were disbelievers.
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوْا۟ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ
اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ آؤ تمہارے لیے اللہ کے رسول استغفار کریں تو اپنے سر مٹکاتے ہیں اور آپ دیکھیں گے کہ وه تکبر کرتے ہوئے رک جاتے ہیں.
And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allāh will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.
