فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍۭ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلَىٰ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ شَهِيدًا
پس کیا حال ہوگا جس وقت کہ ہر امت میں سے ایک گواه ہم ﻻئیں گے اور آپ کو ان لوگوں پر گواه بناکر ﻻئیں گے۔
So how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and We bring you, [O Muḥammad], against these [people] as a witness?
قَالُوا۟ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُم مَّا جِئْنَا لِنُفْسِدَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا كُنَّا سَـٰرِقِينَ
انہوں نے کہا اللہ کی قسم! تم کو خوب علم ہے کہ ہم ملک میں فساد پھیلانے کے لئے نہیں آئے اور نہ ہم چور ہیں.
They said, "By Allāh, you have certainly known that we did not come to cause corruption in the land, and we have not been thieves."
وَقُلْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ لِبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱسْكُنُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفًا
اس کے بعد ہم نے بنی اسرائیل سے فرما دیا کہ اس سرزمین پر تم رہو سہو۔ ہاں جب آخرت کا وعده آئے گا ہم تم سب کو سمیٹ اور لپیٹ کر لے آئیں گے.
And We said after him [i.e., Pharaoh] to the Children of Israel, "Dwell in the land, and when there comes the promise [i.e., appointment] of the Hereafter, We will bring you forth in [one] gathering."
قُل لَّوْ كَانَ ٱلْبَحْرُ مِدَادًا لِّكَلِمَـٰتِ رَبِّى لَنَفِدَ ٱلْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَـٰتُ رَبِّى وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهِۦ مَدَدًا
کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر میرے پروردگار کی باتوں کے لکھنے کے لئے سمندر سیاہی بن جائے تو وه بھی میرے رب کی باتوں کے ختم ہونے سے پہلے ہی ختم ہو جائے گا، گو ہم اسی جیسا اور بھی اس کی مدد میں لے آئیں.
Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it in [continual] supplement."
