لَّقَدْ سَمِعَ ٱللَّهُ قَوْلَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ فَقِيرٌ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَآءُ ۘ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُوا۟ وَقَتْلَهُمُ ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان لوگوں کا قول بھی سنا جنہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فقیر ہے اور ہم تونگر ہیں ان کے اس قول کو ہم لکھ لیں گے۔ اور ان کا انبیا کو بلا وجہ قتل کرنا بھی، اور ہم ان سے کہیں گے کہ جلنے واﻻ عذاب چکھو!

Allāh has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, "Indeed, Allāh is poor, while we are rich." We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.

وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذْ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۙ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَـٰرَهُمْ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

کاش کہ تو دیکھتا جب کہ فرشتے کافروں کی روح قبض کرتے ہیں ان کے منھ پر اور سرینوں پر مار مارتے ہیں (اور کہتے ہیں) تم جلنے کا عذاب چکھو۔

And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved... They are striking their faces and their backs and [saying], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.

ثَانِىَ عِطْفِهِۦ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ لَهُۥ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا خِزْىٌ ۖ وَنُذِيقُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

جو اپنی پہلو موڑنے واﻻ بن کر اس لئے کہ اللہ کی راه سے بہکادے، اسے دنیا میں بھی رسوائی ہوگی اور قیامت کے دن بھی ہم اسے جہنم میں جلنے کا عذاب چکھائیں گے.

Twisting his neck [in arrogance] to mislead [people] from the way of Allāh. For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment of the Burning Fire [while it is said],

كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَا مِنْ غَمٍّ أُعِيدُوا۟ فِيهَا وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

یہ جب بھی وہاں کے غم سے نکل بھاگنے کا اراده کریں گے وہیں لوٹا دیئے جائیں گے اور (کہا جائے گا) جلنے کا عذاب چکھو!

Every time they want to get out of it [i.e., Hellfire] from anguish, they will be returned to it, and [it will be said], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire!"

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

بیشک جن لوگوں نے مسلمان مردوں اور عورتوں کو ستایا پھر توبہ (بھی) نہ کی تو ان کے لئے جہنم کا عذاب ہے اور جلنے کا عذاب ہے.

Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.
