وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتًۢا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
جو لوگ اللہ کی راه میں شہید کئے گئے ہیں ان کو ہرگز مرده نہ سمجھیں، بلکہ وه زنده ہیں اپنے رب کے پاس روزیاں دیئے جاتے ہیں.
And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allāh as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,
لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَآ أَتَوا۟ وَّيُحِبُّونَ أَن يُحْمَدُوا۟ بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا۟ فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّهُم بِمَفَازَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
وه لوگ جو اپنے کرتوتوں پر خوش ہیں اور چاہتے ہیں کہ جو انہوں نے نہیں کیا اس پر بھی ان کی تعریفیں کی جائیں آپ انہیں عذاب سے چھٹکارا میں نہ سمجھئے ان کے لئے تو دردناک عذاب ہے.
And never think that those who rejoice in what they have perpetrated and like to be praised for what they did not do - never think them [to be] in safety from the punishment, and for them is a painful punishment.
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَـٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ
ناانصافوں کے اعمال سے اللہ کو غافل نہ سمجھ وه تو انہیں اس دن تک مہلت دیے ہوئے ہے جس دن آنکھیں پھٹی کی پھٹی ره جائیں گی.
And never think that Allāh is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them [i.e., their account] for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].
فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ
آپ ہرگز یہ خیال نہ کریں کہ اللہ اپنے نبیوں سے وعده خلافی کرے گا، اللہ بڑا ہی غالب اور بدلہ لینے واﻻ ہے.
So never think that Allāh will fail in His promise to His messengers. Indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution.
لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مُعْجِزِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ ۖ وَلَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
یہ خیال آپ کبھی بھی نہ کرنا کہ منکر لوگ زمین میں (ادھر ادھر بھاگ کر) ہمیں ہرا دینے والے ہیں، ان کا اصلی ٹھکانا تو جہنم ہے جو یقیناً بہت ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے.
Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to Allāh] upon the earth. Their refuge will be the Fire - and how wretched the destination.
