وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ ٱلْأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِى بِأَسْمَآءِ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے آدم کو تمام نام سکھا کر ان چیزوں کو فرشتوں کے سامنے پیش کیا اور فرمایا، اگر تم سچے ہو تو ان چیزوں کے نام بتاؤ۔
And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."
إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَلَن يَكْفِيَكُمْ أَن يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِثَلَـٰثَةِ ءَالَـٰفٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ مُنزَلِينَ
(اور یہ شکر گزاری باعﺚ نصرت وامداد ہو) جب آپ مومنوں کو تسلی دے رہے تھے، کیا آسمان سے تین ہزار فرشتے اتار کر اللہ تعالیٰ کا تمہاری مدد کرنا تمہیں کافی نہ ہوگا.
[Remember] when you said to the believers, "Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down?
بَلَىٰٓ ۚ إِن تَصْبِرُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ وَيَأْتُوكُم مِّن فَوْرِهِمْ هَـٰذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِخَمْسَةِ ءَالَـٰفٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ
کیوں نہیں، بلکہ اگر تم صبر و پرہیزگاری کرو اور یہ لوگ اسی دم تمہارے پاس آجائیں تو تمہارا رب تمہاری امداد پانچ ہزار فرشتوں سے کرے گا جو نشاندار ہوں گے.
Yes, if you remain patient and conscious of Allāh and they [i.e., the enemy] come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction]."
إِذْ تَسْتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمْ فَٱسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ أَنِّى مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلْفٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ مُرْدِفِينَ
اس وقت کو یاد کرو جب کہ تم اپنے رب سے فریاد کررہے تھے، پھر اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہاری سن لی کہ میں تم کو ایک ہزار فرشتوں سے مدد دوں گا جو لگاتار چلے آئیں گے۔
[Remember] when you were asking help of your Lord, and He answered you, "Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, following one another."
إِذْ يُوحِى رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ أَنِّى مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۚ سَأُلْقِى فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلرُّعْبَ فَٱضْرِبُوا۟ فَوْقَ ٱلْأَعْنَاقِ وَٱضْرِبُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍ
اس وقت کو یاد کرو جب کہ آپ کا رب فرشتوں کو حکم دیتا تھا کہ میں تمہارا ساتھی ہوں سو تم ایمان والوں کی ہمت بڑھاؤ میں ابھی کفار کے قلوب میں رعب ڈالے دیتا ہوں، سو تم گردنوں پر مارو اور ان کے پور پور کو مارو۔
[Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip."
