لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَـٰلِمُونَ
اے پیغمبر! آپ کے اختیار میں کچھ نہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ چاہے تو ان کی توبہ قبول کرے یا عذاب دے، کیونکہ وه ﻇالم ہیں.
Not for you, [O Muḥammad, but for Allāh], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers.
وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ أَن تَمِيلُوا۟ مَيْلًا عَظِيمًا
اور اللہ چاہتا ہے کہ تمہاری توبہ قبول کرے اور جو لوگ خواہشات کے پیرو ہیں وه چاہتے ہیں کہ تم اس سے بہت دور ہٹ جاؤ۔
Allāh wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to digress [into] a great deviation.
وَءَاخَرُونَ ٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ خَلَطُوا۟ عَمَلًا صَـٰلِحًا وَءَاخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
اور کچھ اور لوگ ہیں جو اپنی خطا کے اقراری ہیں جنہوں نے ملے جلے عمل کیے تھے، کچھ بھلے اور کچھ برے۔ اللہ سے امید ہے کہ ان کی توبہ قبول فرمائے۔ بلاشبہ اللہ تعالیٰ بڑی مغفرت واﻻ بڑی رحمت واﻻ ہے۔
And [there are] others who have acknowledged their sins. They had mixed [i.e., polluted] a righteous deed with another that was bad. Perhaps Allāh will turn to them in forgiveness. Indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.
لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ إِن شَآءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
تاکہ اللہ تعالیٰ سچوں کو ان کی سچائی کا بدلہ دے اور اگر چاہے تو منافقوں کو سزا دے یا ان کی توبہ قبول فرمائے، اللہ تعالیٰ بڑا ہی بخشنے واﻻ بہت ہی مہربان ہے.
That Allāh may reward the truthful for their truth and punish the hypocrites if He wills or accept their repentance. Indeed, Allāh is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
