هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَسَوَّىٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٰتٍ ۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

وه اللہ جس نے تمہارے لئے زمین کی تمام چیزوں کو پیدا کیا، پھر آسمان کی طرف قصد کیا اور ان کو ٹھیک ٹھاک سات آسمان بنایا اور وه ہر چیز کو جانتا ہے۔

It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.

وَٱلْمُطَلَّقَـٰتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلَـٰثَةَ قُرُوٓءٍ ۚ وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ فِىٓ أَرْحَامِهِنَّ إِن كُنَّ يُؤْمِنَّ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۚ وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِرَدِّهِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ إِنْ أَرَادُوٓا۟ إِصْلَـٰحًا ۚ وَلَهُنَّ مِثْلُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَيْهِنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۚ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيْهِنَّ دَرَجَةٌ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

طلاق والی عورتیں اپنے آپ کو تین حیض تک روکے رکھیں، انہیں حلال نہیں کہ اللہ نے ان کے رحم میں جو پیدا کیا ہو اسے چھپائیں، اگر انہیں اللہ تعالیٰ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان ہو، ان کے خاوند اس مدت میں انہیں لوٹا لینے کے پورے حقدار ہیں اگر ان کا اراده اصلاح کا ہو۔ اور عورتوں کے بھی ویسے ہی حق ہیں جیسے ان پر مردوں کے ہیں اچھائی کے ساتھ۔ ہاں مردوں کو عورتوں پر فضلیت ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ غالب ہے حکمت واﻻ ہے۔

Divorced women remain in waiting [i.e., do not remarry] for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allāh has created in their wombs if they believe in Allāh and the Last Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to them [i.e., the wives] is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men [i.e., husbands] have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise.

وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ نَحْنُ أَبْنَـٰٓؤُا۟ ٱللَّهِ وَأَحِبَّـٰٓؤُهُۥ ۚ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُم بِذُنُوبِكُم ۖ بَلْ أَنتُم بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ۚ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

یہود و نصاریٰ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اللہ کے بیٹے اور اس کے دوست ہیں، آپ کہہ دیجیئے کہ پھر تمہیں تمہارے گناہوں کے باعﺚ اللہ کیوں سزا دیتا ہے؟ نہیں بلکہ تم بھی اس کی مخلوق میں سے ایک انسان ہو وه جسے چاہتا ہے بخش دیتا ہے، اور جسے چاہتا ہے عذاب کرتا ہے، زمین و آسمان اور ان کے درمیان کی ہر چیز اللہ تعالیٰ کی ملکیت ہے اور اسی کی طرف لوٹنا ہے۔

But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allāh and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ

تمام تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے ﻻئق ہیں جس نے آسمانوں کو اور زمین کو پیدا کیا اور تاریکیوں اور نور کو بنایا پھر بھی کافر لوگ (غیر اللہ کو) اپنے رب کے برابر قرار دیتے ہیں۔

[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَيَوْمَ يَقُولُ كُن فَيَكُونُ ۚ قَوْلُهُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ وَلَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ ۚ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

اور وہی ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو برحق پیدا کیا اور جس وقت اللہ تعالیٰ اتنا کہہ دے گا تو ہوجا بس وه ہو پڑے گا۔ اس کا کہنا حق اور بااﺛر ہے۔ اور ساری حکومت خاص اسی کی ہوگی جب کہ صُور میں پھونک ماری جائے گی وه جاننے واﻻ ہے پوشیده چیزوں کا اور ﻇاہر چیزوں کا اور وہی ہے بڑی حکمت واﻻ پوری خبر رکھنے واﻻ۔

And it is He who created the heavens and earth in truth. And the day [i.e., whenever] He says, "Be," and it is, His word is the truth. And His is the dominion [on] the Day the Horn is blown. [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed; and He is the Wise, the Aware.
