رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا بِمَآ أَنزَلْتَ وَٱتَّبَعْنَا ٱلرَّسُولَ فَٱكْتُبْنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ
اے ہمارے پالنے والے معبود! ہم تیری اتاری ہوئی وحی پر ایمان ﻻئے اور ہم نے تیرے رسول کی اتباع کی، پس تو ہمیں گواہوں میں لکھ لے۔
Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger [i.e., Jesus], so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."
وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا۟ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ تَرَىٰٓ أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ ۖ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱكْتُبْنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ
اور جب وه رسول کی طرف نازل کرده (کلام) کو سنتے ہیں تو آپ ان کی آنکھیں آنسو سے بہتی ہوئی دیکھتے ہیں اس سبب سے کہ انہوں نے حق کو پہچان لیا، وه کہتے ہیں کہ اے ہمارے رب! ہم ایمان لے آئے پس تو ہم کو بھی ان لوگوں کے ساتھ لکھ لے جو تصدیق کرتے ہیں۔
And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth. They say, "Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.
