لِّلَّذِينَ يُؤْلُونَ مِن نِّسَآئِهِمْ تَرَبُّصُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ ۖ فَإِن فَآءُو فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
جو لوگ اپنی بیویوں سے (تعلق نہ رکھنے کی) قسمیں کھائیں، ان کے لئے چار مہینے کی مدت ہے، پھر اگر وه لوٹ آئیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ بھی بخشنے واﻻ مہربان ہے۔
For those who swear not to have sexual relations with their wives is a waiting time of four months, but if they return [to normal relations] - then indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًا يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا ۖ فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
تم میں سے جو لوگ فوت ہوجائیں اور بیویاں چھوڑ جائیں، وه عورتیں اپنے آپ کو چار مہینے اور دس (دن) عدت میں رکھیں، پھر جب مدت ختم کرلیں تو جو اچھائی کے ساتھ وه اپنے لئے کریں اس میں تم پر کوئی گناه نہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارے ہر عمل سے خبردار ہے۔
And those who are taken in death among you and leave wives behind - they, [the wives, shall] wait four months and ten [days]. And when they have fulfilled their term, then there is no blame upon you for what they do with themselves in an acceptable manner. And Allāh is [fully] Aware of what you do.
فَسِيحُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِى ٱللَّهِ ۙ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْزِى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
پس (اے مشرکو!) تم ملک میں چار مہینے تک تو چل پھر لو، جان لو کہ تم اللہ کو عاجز کرنے والے نہیں ہو، اور یہ (بھی یاد رہے) کہ اللہ کافروں کو رسوا کرنے واﻻ ہے۔
So travel freely, [O disbelievers], throughout the land [during] four months but know that you cannot cause failure to Allāh and that Allāh will disgrace the disbelievers.
وَٱلَّـٰٓـِٔى يَئِسْنَ مِنَ ٱلْمَحِيضِ مِن نِّسَآئِكُمْ إِنِ ٱرْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلَـٰثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَٱلَّـٰٓـِٔى لَمْ يَحِضْنَ ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰتُ ٱلْأَحْمَالِ أَجَلُهُنَّ أَن يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ ۚ وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ يُسْرًا
تمہاری عورتوں میں سے جو عورتیں حیض سے ناامید ہو گئی ہوں، اگر تمہیں شبہ ہو تو ان کی عدت تین مہینے ہے اور ان کی بھی جنہیں حیض آنا شروع ہی نہ ہوا ہو اور حاملہ عورتوں کی عدت ان کے وضع حمل ہے اور جو شخص اللہ تعالیٰ سے ڈرے گا اللہ اس کے (ہر) کام میں آسانی کر دے گا.
And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allāh - He will make for him of his matter ease.
