نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُوا۟ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّىٰ شِئْتُمْ ۖ وَقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُم مُّلَـٰقُوهُ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

تمہاری بیویاں تمہاری کھیتیاں ہیں، اپنی کھیتیوں میں جس طرح چاہو آؤ اور اپنے لئے (نیک اعمال) آگے بھیجو اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے ڈرتے رہا کرو اور جان رکھو کہ تم اس سے ملنے والے ہو اور ایمان والوں کو خوش خبری سنا دیجیئے۔

Your wives are a place of cultivation [i.e., sowing of seed] for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves. And fear Allāh and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers.

لَّا يَتَّخِذِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ فِى شَىْءٍ إِلَّآ أَن تَتَّقُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ تُقَىٰةً ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسَهُۥ ۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

مومنوں کو چاہئے کہ ایمان والوں کو چھوڑ کر کافروں کو اپنا دوست نہ بنائیں اور جوایسا کرے گا وه اللہ تعالیٰ کی کسی حمایت میں نہیں مگر یہ کہ ان کے شر سے کسی طرح بچاؤ مقصود ہو، اور اللہ تعالیٰ خود تمہیں اپنی ذات سے ڈرا رہا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کی طرف لوٹ جانا ہے۔

Let not believers take disbelievers as allies [i.e., supporters or protectors] rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing [i.e., no association] with Allāh, except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allāh warns you of Himself, and to Allāh is the [final] destination.

إِنَّ أَوْلَى ٱلنَّاسِ بِإِبْرَٰهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ وَهَـٰذَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَلِىُّ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

سب لوگوں سے زیاده ابراہیم سے نزدیک تر وه لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے ان کا کہا مانا اور یہ نبی اور جو لوگ ایمان ﻻئے، مومنوں کا ولی اور سہارا اللہ ہی ہے،۔

Indeed, the most worthy of Abraham among the people are those who followed him [in submission to Allāh] and this prophet [i.e., Muḥammad (ﷺ)] and those who believe [in his message]. And Allāh is the Ally of the believers.

وَإِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَقَـٰعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

اے نبی! اس وقت کو بھی یاد کرو جب صبح ہی صبح آپ اپنے گھر سے نکل کر مسلمانوں کو میدان جنگ میں لڑائی کے مورچوں پر باقاعده بٹھا رہے تھے اللہ تعالیٰ سننے جاننے واﻻ ہے.

And [remember] when you, [O Muḥammad], left your family in the morning to post the believers at their stations for the battle [of Uḥud] - and Allāh is Hearing and Knowing -

وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَعْدَهُۥٓ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَـٰزَعْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَآ أَرَىٰكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ ۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

اللہ تعالیٰ نے تم سے اپنا وعده سچا کر دکھایا جبکہ تم اس کے حکم سے انہیں کاٹ رہے تھے۔ یہاں تک کہ جب تم نے پست ہمتی اختیار کی اور کام میں جھگڑنے لگے اور نافرمانی کی، اس کے بعد کہ اس نے تمہاری چاہت کی چیز تمہیں دکھا دی، تم میں سے بعض دنیا چاہتے تھے اور بعض کا اراده آخرت کا تھا تو پھر اس نے تمہیں ان سے پھیر دیا تاکہ تم کو آزمائے اور یقیناً اس نے تمہاری لغزش سے درگزر فرما دیا اور ایمان والوں پر اللہ تعالیٰ بڑے فضل واﻻ ہے.

And Allāh had certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were killing them [i.e., the enemy] by His permission until [the time] when you lost courage and fell to disputing about the order [given by the Prophet (ﷺ)] and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you love. Among you are some who desire this world, and among you are some who desire the Hereafter. Then He turned you back from them [defeated] that He might test you. And He has already forgiven you, and Allāh is the possessor of bounty for the believers.
