وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ ۙ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِتُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِرَبِّكُمْ وَقَدْ أَخَذَ مِيثَـٰقَكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
تم اللہ پر ایمان کیوں نہیں ﻻتے؟ حاﻻنکہ خود رسول تمہیں اپنے رب پر ایمان ﻻنےکی دعوت دے رہا ہے اور اگر تم مومن ہو تو وه تو تم سے مضبوط عہد وپیمان بھی لے چکا ہے.
And why do you not believe in Allāh while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord and He has taken your covenant, if you should [truly] be believers?
فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَآسَّا ۖ فَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَإِطْعَامُ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِينًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِتُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۚ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
ہاں جو شخص نہ پائے اس کے ذمہ دو مہینوں کے لگاتار روزے ہیں اس سے پہلے کہ ایک دوسرے کو ہاتھ لگائیں اور جس شخص کو یہ طاقت بھی نہ ہو اس پر ساٹھ مسکینوں کا کھانا کھلانا ہے۔ یہ اس لیے کہ تم اللہ کی اور اس کے رسول کی حکم برداری کرو، یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی مقرر کرده حدیں ہیں اور کفار ہی کے لیے درد ناک عذاب ہے.
And he who does not find [a slave] - then a fast for two months consecutively before they touch one another; and he who is unable - then the feeding of sixty poor persons. That is for you to believe [completely] in Allāh and His Messenger; and those are the limits [set by] Allāh. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.
