هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
یہ لوگ صرف قیامت کے منتظر ہیں کہ وه اچانک ان پر آپڑے اور انہیں خبر بھی نہ ہو.
Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not?
فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً ۖ فَقَدْ جَآءَ أَشْرَاطُهَا ۚ فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمْ إِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرَىٰهُمْ
تو کیا یہ قیامت کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں کہ وه ان کے پاس اچانک آجائے یقیناً اس کی علامتیں تو آچکی ہیں، پھر جبکہ ان کے پاس قیامت آجائے انہیں نصیحت کرنا کہاں ہوگا؟
Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of] its indications. Then how [i.e., what good] to them, when it has come, will be their remembrance?
