۞ وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا ۖ يَـٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِى مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيْرَ ۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلْحَدِيدَ
اور ہم نے داؤد پر اپنا فضل کیا، اے پہاڑو! اس کے ساتھ رغبت سے تسبیح پڑھا کرو اور پرندوں کو بھی (یہی حکم ہے) اور ہم نے اس کے لئے لوہا نرم کردیا.
And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. [We said], "O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]." And We made pliable for him iron,
لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ ٱلنَّاسُ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ وَأَنزَلْنَا ٱلْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَـٰفِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُۥ وَرُسُلَهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌ
یقیناً ہم نے اپنے پیغمبروں کو کھلی دلیلیں دے کر بھیجا اور ان کے ساتھ کتاب اور میزان (ترازو) نازل فرمایا تاکہ لوگ عدل پر قائم رہیں۔ اور ہم نے لوہے کو اتارا جس میں سخت ہیبت وقوت ہے اور لوگوں کے لیے اور بھی (بہت سے) فائدے ہیں اور اس لیے بھی کہ اللہ جان لے کہ اس کی اور اس کے رسولوں کی مدد بےدیکھے کون کرتا ہے، بیشک اللہ قوت واﻻ اور زبردست ہے.
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allāh may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allāh is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
