لِّيُعَذِّبَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَٱلْمُشْرِكَـٰتِ وَيَتُوبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًۢا

(یہ اس لئے) کہ اللہ تعالیٰ منافق مردوں عورتوں اور مشرک مردوں عورتوں کو سزا دے اور مومن مردوں عورتوں کی توبہ قبول فرمائے، اور اللہ تعالیٰ بڑا ہی بخشنے واﻻ اور مہربان ہے.

[It was] so that Allāh may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the men and women who associate others with Him and that Allāh may accept repentance from the believing men and believing women. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.

وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَٱلْمُشْرِكَـٰتِ ٱلظَّآنِّينَ بِٱللَّهِ ظَنَّ ٱلسَّوْءِ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ دَآئِرَةُ ٱلسَّوْءِ ۖ وَغَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَنَهُمْ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَسَآءَتْ مَصِيرًا

اور تاکہ ان منافق مردوں اور منافق عورتوں اور مشرک مردوں اور مشرکہ عورتوں کو عذاب دے جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے بارے میں بدگمانیاں رکھنے والے ہیں، (دراصل) انہیں پر برائی کا پھیرا ہے، اللہ ان پر ناراض ہوا اور انہیں لعنت کی اور ان کے لئے دوزخ تیار کی اور وه (بہت) بری لوٹنے کی جگہ ہے.

And [that] He may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the polytheist men and polytheist women - those who assume about Allāh an assumption of evil nature. Upon them is a misfortune of evil nature; and Allāh has become angry with them and has cursed them and prepared for them Hell, and evil it is as a destination.

لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ

اہل کتاب کے کافر اور مشرک لوگ جب تک کہ ان کے پاس ظاہر دلیل نہ آجائے باز رہنے والے نہ تھے (وه دلیل یہ تھی کہ).

Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ

بیشک جو لوگ اہل کتاب میں کافر ہوئے اور مشرکین سب دوزخ کی آگ میں (جائیں گے) جہاں وه ہمیشہ (ہمیشہ) رہیں گے۔ یہ لوگ بدترین خلائق ہیں.

Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
