يَسْـَٔلُكَ ٱلنَّاسُ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيبًا
لوگ آپ سے قیامت کے بارے میں سوال کرتے ہیں۔ آپ کہہ دیجیئے! کہ اس کا علم تو اللہ ہی کو ہے، آپ کو کیا خبر بہت ممکن ہے قیامت بالکل ہی قریب ہو.
People ask you concerning the Hour. Say, "Knowledge of it is only with Allāh. And what may make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near."
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ ۗ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌ
اللہ تعالیٰ نے حق کے ساتھ کتاب نازل فرمائی ہے اور ترازو بھی (اتاری ہے) اور آپ کو کیا خبر شاید قیامت قریب ہی ہو.
It is Allāh who has sent down the Book in truth and [also] the balance [i.e., justice]. And what will make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near.
وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
تجھے کیا خبر شاید وه سنور جاتا.
But what would make you perceive, [O Muḥammad], that perhaps he might be purified
