قُلْ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَتْحِ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ
جواب دے دو کہ فیصلے والے دن ایمان ﻻنا بے ایمانوں کو کچھ کام نہ آئے گا اور نہ انہیں ڈھیل دی جائے گی.
Say, [O Muḥammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved."
فَلَمْ يَكُ يَنفَعُهُمْ إِيمَـٰنُهُمْ لَمَّا رَأَوْا۟ بَأْسَنَا ۖ سُنَّتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِى قَدْ خَلَتْ فِى عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
لیکن ہمارے عذاب کو دیکھ لینے کے بعد ان کے ایمان نے انہیں نفع نہ دیا۔ اللہ نے اپنا معمول یہی مقرر کر رکھا ہے جو اس کے بندوں میں برابر چلا آ رہا ہے۔ اور اس جگہ کافر خراب وخستہ ہوئے.
But never did their faith benefit them once they saw Our punishment. [It is] the established way of Allāh which has preceded among His servants. And the disbelievers thereupon lost [all].
