ثُمَّ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَـٰٓـُٔوا۟ ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ أَن كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَانُوا۟ بِهَا يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
پھر آخر برا کرنے والوں کا بہت ہی برا انجام ہوا، اس لئے کہ وه اللہ تعالیٰ کی آیتوں کو جھٹلاتے اور ان کی ہنسی اڑاتے تھے.
Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allāh and used to ridicule them.
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَـٰٓـُٔوا۟ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ بِٱلْحُسْنَى
اور اللہ ہی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے تاکہ اللہ تعالیٰ برے عمل کرنے والوں کو ان کے اعمال کا بدلہ دے اور نیک کام کرنے والوں کو اچھا بدلہ عنایت فرمائے.
And to Allāh belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth - that He may recompense those who do evil with [the penalty of] what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best [reward] -
