وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ
اور تمہاری جن عورتوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہارا جوڑا بنایا ہے ان کو چھوڑ دیتے ہو، بلکہ تم ہو ہی حد سے گزر جانے والے.
And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing."
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْخَـٰلِقِينَ
کیا تم بعل (نامی بت) کو پکارتے ہو؟ اور سب سے بہتر خالق کو چھوڑ دیتے ہو؟
Do you call upon Baʿl and leave the best of creators -
وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ
اور آخرت کو چھوڑ بیٹھے ہو.
And leave [i.e., neglect] the Hereafter.
