وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا
اور اسی نے رات اور دن کو ایک دوسرے کے پیچھے آنے جانے واﻻ بنایا۔ اس شخص کی نصیحت کے لیے جو نصیحت حاصل کرنے یا شکر گزاری کرنے کا اراده رکھتا ہو.
And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude.
إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا
ہم تو تمہیں صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کی رضامندی کے لیے کھلاتے ہیں نہ تم سے بدلہ چاہتے ہیں نہ شکر گزاری.
[Saying], "We feed you only for the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.
