ٱدْفَعْ بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ ۚ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ
برائی کو اس طریقے سے دور کریں جو سراسر بھلائی واﻻ ہو، جو کچھ یہ بیان کرتے ہیں ہم بخوبی واقف ہیں.
Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe.
وَلَا تَسْتَوِى ٱلْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا ٱلسَّيِّئَةُ ۚ ٱدْفَعْ بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُۥ عَدَٰوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُۥ وَلِىٌّ حَمِيمٌ
نیکی اور بدی برابر نہیں ہوتی۔ برائی کو بھلائی سے دفع کرو پھر وہی جس کے اور تمہارے درمیان دشمنی ہے ایسا ہو جائے گا جیسے دلی دوست.
And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon, the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend.
