وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ وَلَن يُخْلِفَ ٱللَّهُ وَعْدَهُۥ ۚ وَإِنَّ يَوْمًا عِندَ رَبِّكَ كَأَلْفِ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ
اللہ ہرگز اپنا وعده نہیں ٹالے گا۔ ہاں البتہ آپ کے رب کے نزدیک ایک دن تمہاری گنتی کے اعتبار سے ایک ہزار سال کا ہے.
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allāh will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَخَذْنَا مُتْرَفِيهِم بِٱلْعَذَابِ إِذَا هُمْ يَجْـَٔرُونَ
یہاں تک کہ جب ہم نے ان کے آسوده حال لوگوں کو عذاب میں پکڑ لیا تو وه بلبلانے لگے.
Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allāh] for help.
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَـٰهُم بِٱلْعَذَابِ فَمَا ٱسْتَكَانُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
اور ہم نے انہیں عذاب میں بھی پکڑا تاہم یہ لوگ نہ تو اپنے پروردگار کے سامنے جھکے اور نہ ہی عاجزی اختیار کی.
And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus]
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ ۚ وَلَوْلَآ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
یہ لوگ آپ سے عذاب کی جلدی کر رہے ہیں۔ اگر میری طرف سے مقرر کیا ہوا وقت نہ ہوتا تو ابھی تک ان کے پاس عذاب آچکا ہوتا، یہ یقینی بات ہے کہ اچانک ان کی بے خبری میں ان کے پاس عذاب آپہنچے گا.
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for [the decree of] a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not.
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ بِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
یہ عذاب کی جلدی مچا رہے ہیں اور (تسلی رکھیں) جہنم کافروں کو گھیر لینے والی ہے.
They urge you to hasten the punishment. And indeed, Hell will be encompassing of the disbelievers
