وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَثَمُودُ
اگر یہ لوگ آپ کو جھٹلائیں (تو کوئی تعجب کی بات نہیں) تو ان سے پہلے نوح کی قوم اور عاد اور ﺛمود.
And if they deny you, [O Muḥammad] - so, before them, did the people of Noah and ʿAad and Thamūd deny [their prophets],
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
قوم نوح نے بھی نبیوں کو جھٹلایا.
The people of Noah denied the messengers
كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
عادیوں نے بھی رسولوں کو جھٹلایا.
ʿAad denied the messengers
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
ﺛمودیوں نے بھی پیغمبروں کو جھٹلایا.
Thamūd denied the messengers
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
قوم لوط نے بھی نبیوں کو جھُٹلایا.
