وَلِسُلَيْمَـٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ عَاصِفَةً تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِى بَـٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا ۚ وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَـٰلِمِينَ
ہم نے تند وتیز ہوا کو سلیمان (علیہ السلام) کے تابع کر دیا جو اس کے فرمان کے مطابق اس زمین کی طرف چلتی تھی جہاں ہم نے برکت دے رکھی تھی، اور ہم ہر چیز سے باخبر اور دانا ہیں.
And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind, blowing forcefully, proceeding by his command toward the land which We had blessed. And We are ever, of all things, Knowing.
وَلِسُلَيْمَـٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ ۖ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُۥ عَيْنَ ٱلْقِطْرِ ۖ وَمِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِۦ ۖ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
اور ہم نے سلیمان کے لئے ہوا کو مسخر کردیا کہ صبح کی منزل اس کی مہینہ بھر کی ہوتی تھی اور شام کی منزل بھی اور ہم نے ان کے لئے تانبے کا چشمہ بہا دیا۔ اور اس کے رب کے حکم سے بعض جنات اس کی ماتحتی میں اس کے سامنے کام کرتے تھے اور ان میں سے جو بھی ہمارے حکم سے سرتابی کرے ہم اسے بھڑکتی ہوئی آگ کے عذاب کا مزه چکھائیں گے.
And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.
