قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُۥ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَـٰذَا فَسْـَٔلُوهُمْ إِن كَانُوا۟ يَنطِقُونَ
آپ نے جواب دیا بلکہ اس کام کو ان کے بڑے نے کیا ہے تم اپنے خداؤں سے ہی پوچھ لو اگر یہ بولتے چالتے ہوں.
He said, "Rather, this - the largest of them - did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak."
ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ
پھر اپنے سروں کے بل اوندھے ہوگئے (اور کہنے لگے کہ) یہ تو تجھے بھی معلوم ہے کہ یہ بولنے چالنے والے نہیں.
Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!"
وَوَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا۟ فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
بسبب اس کے کہ انہوں نے ﻇلم کیا تھا ان پر بات جم جائے گی اور وه کچھ بول نہ سکیں گے.
And the decree will befall them for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak.
هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
آج (کا دن) وه دن ہے کہ یہ بول بھی نہ سکیں گے.
This is a Day they will not speak,
