مَآ ءَامَنَتْ قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَـٰهَآ ۖ أَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ
ان سے پہلے جتنی بستیاں ہم نے اجاڑیں سب ایمان سے خالی تھیں۔ تو کیا اب یہ ایمان ﻻئیں گے.
Not a [single] city which We destroyed believed before them, so will they believe?
وَحَرَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَـٰهَآ أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
اور جس بستی کو ہم نے ہلاک کر دیا اس پر ﻻزم ہے کہ وہاں کے لوگ پلٹ کر نہیں آئیں گے.
And it is prohibited to [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return
