وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ قُرْءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلْوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْرًا
اسی طرح ہم نے تجھ پر عربی قرآن نازل فرمایا ہے اور طرح طرح سے اس میں ڈر کا بیان سنایا ہے تاکہ لوگ پرہیز گار بن جائیں یا ان کے دل میں سوچ سمجھ تو پیدا کرے.
And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’ān and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance.
وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
اور یقیناً ہم نے تمہارے آس پاس کی بستیاں تباه کر دیں اور طرح طرح کی ہم نے اپنی نشانیاں بیان کر دیں تاکہ وه رجوع کر لیں.
And We have already destroyed what surrounds you of [those] cities, and We have diversified the signs [or verses] that perhaps they might return [from disbelief].
