قَالُوا۟ لَن نَّبْرَحَ عَلَيْهِ عَـٰكِفِينَ حَتَّىٰ يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ
انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کی واپسی تک تو ہم اسی کے مجاور بنے بیٹھے رہیں گے.
They said, "We will never cease being devoted to it [i.e., the calf] until Moses returns to us."
قَالُوا۟ نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَـٰكِفِينَ
انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ عبادت کرتے ہیں بتوں کی، ہم تو برابر ان کے مجاور بنے بیٹھے ہیں.
They said, "We worship idols and remain to them devoted."
