إِنَّآ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّنَا لِيَغْفِرَ لَنَا خَطَـٰيَـٰنَا وَمَآ أَكْرَهْتَنَا عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلسِّحْرِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
ہم (اس امید سے) اپنے پروردگار پرایمان ﻻئے کہ وه ہماری خطائیں معاف فرما دے اور (خاص کر) جادوگری (کا گناه،) جس پر تم نے ہمیں مجبور کیا ہے، اللہ ہی بہتر اور ہمیشہ باقی رہنے واﻻ ہے.
Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you compelled us [to do] of magic. And Allāh is better and more enduring."
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِنۢ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ ۚ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
ہم ایسا ہی بدلہ ہر اس شخص کو دیا کرتے ہیں جو حد سے گزر جائے اور اپنے رب کی آیتوں پر ایمان نہ ﻻئے، اور بیشک آخرت کا عذاب نہایت ہی سخت اور باقی رہنے واﻻ ہے.
And thus do We recompense he who transgressed and did not believe in the signs of his Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more enduring.
وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَىْءٍ فَمَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتُهَا ۚ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
اور تمہیں جو کچھ دیا گیا ہے وه صرف زندگی دنیا کا سامان اور اسی کی رونق ہے، ہاں اللہ کے پاس جو ہے وه بہت ہی بہتر اور دیرپا ہے۔ کیا تم نہیں سمجھتے.
And whatever thing you [people] have been given - it is [only for] the enjoyment of worldly life and its adornment. And what is with Allāh is better and more lasting; so will you not use reason?
وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
اور آخرت بہت بہتر اور بہت بقا والی ہے.
While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
